The Meeting scheduled on 20th December has been postponed

Mid Term Review of FDB

A meeting is scheduled to be held at Karachi on 20th December 2010 at 1500 Hours. All private sector directors of FDB are requested to participate in this meeting.

Trout Committee Meeting

The Trout Committee meeting was held on 30th November 2010 at FDB Head Office, Islamabad to cope the issue of give some incentive/support to the flood effectee trout farmers. The following were present in the meeting:

1. Mr. Arif Aslam Khan, Chief Executive Officer, FDB, Islamabad.
2. Mr. Javaid Ayub, Director Wildlife and Fisheries Department, Govt. of AJK.
3. Mr. Muhammad Diyar Khan, Director Fisheries Department, Govt. of KPK.
4. Mr. Muhammad Rasheed, Director, FDB

The committee decided to visit the flood areas to assess the damages. A visit is being scheduled for the purpose.

Research and Development Committee Meeting

1st Meeting of Research and Development Committee was held on 30th November 2010 at FDB Head Office, Islamabad. Following were present in the meeting:

1. Dr. Shahana Urooj Kazmi
2. Mr. Muhammad Ashraf, DG Punjab Fisheries department.
3. Dr Muhammad Hayat, Coordinator (Hatchery), FDB
4. Mr. Muhammad Junaid Wattoo, Junior Executive Officer, A&SF Project, Islamabad.
